Graduation Speech

Man what a ride this year has been. I remember the last day at Gemini Junior High School as a seventh grader, telling all my friends that I would move to a different school.  I was very iffy about moving to different schools originally because I was nervous about how the people I meet were going to be like. I was also kind of sad because I would have to leave all my classmates that I have know my whole life and start a new journey of finding friends and meeting new teachers. After finally saying my last good byes to everyone before summer started, I started to mentally prepare myself for the new school year. After a long summer of moving boxes and furniture we were finally done with the process of moving. Now was the time to focus my attention on my last year of middle school. The summer was over and it was my time to attend Golf Middle School. The first couple of days of school were nerve wrecking, but after a couple of weeks I started to get comfortable with my peers and my teachers. Soon enough Golf Middle School was a place that I could go to 5 days a week.  GMS held many great memories for me as a student but the best memories held for me was the basketball team. While we were on the basketball team there were many memories from Joey hitting a buzzer beater to beat Fairview and Sagar's game tying layup against Lincoln. Aside from all the activities I did during my 8th grade year at GMS,  the one thing that I learned most about this school year was trying to find myself as a person to build my character in highschool. It is a journey that has just begun and it will be a journey that I will carry with me forever. This school has held many memories for me and I hope I will make more memories in High School with the friends I have made this year.

In order to prepare for an important  test you will need to get at nine to eleven hours of sleep This will allow your brain to be more active during school hours. You can also eat a nutritious breakfast because it is important that you get the day started on a good note. This will make sure that you have no distractions during the test and your brain will be focused on the test and not your belly.  During your test you will want to take as much time as possible and if you dont know a question make an educated guess. 

Endings and Beginnings

With last day of school arriving soo quickly its time to turn my attention to the 4th and last quarter of school. My goals for the 4th quarter include the following. I want to obviously improve the grades that I currently have. I will accomplish this by study on all my tests and also doing all my  homework. I would also like to leave a good reputation in my school. I want to leave a good lasting impression on the teachers and the staff.

Field Trip Blog

One field trip that was very memorable was in 6th grade when my class and I went to Safari Land. This was one the best field trips I ever went on. A reason I loved this trip soo much was because of all the activities  a we did there. First when we arrived at our destination we were greeted with a weird looking machine that spun around. It was actually a roller coaster simulator which was pretty fun. Throughout the day we went on roller coasters and fun rides. In the end we ate some tasty pizza and redeemed our prizes. Everyone had a great time at Safari Land.

I'm Still Here

Dear Diary,
    Today I had an amazing time with my cousins in Atlanta, Georgia. I rode a plane from Chicago to Atlanta get here. The plane ride was a grueling 8 hours but, I made it. When I got to my cousins house the first thing I did was take a shower and put on fancy clothes. The reason I got dressed up was because my cousin was getting married. Since the party was at 5 my cousins and I had 3 hours to spare so we decided to go play basketball.
    We changed our attire to basketball attire and went off to LA Fitness. There were a couple of people at the basketball court so we decided to run a 4 on 4 game (We Won). After the gym we were kind of hungry so we decided to get a quick snack which was Bubble Tea. By the time we arrived at home we had 1 hour to go till the party started at a banquet hall. So all my cousins and I had to take showers AGAIN and change to our fancy clothes AGAIN. The party was pretty lit. We ate some good cuisines and danced to some good music till around 3 in the morning. When we got back to our cousins house (where about 17 people were staying at) everyone was pretty tired so we put on a movie and fell asleep.
     I hope the rest of the vacation would be like this. Good night.

This quote really reminds me of the movie The Dark Knight Rises where Bruce Wayne chose love. While he was stuck in a prison he could've killed himself so he could be free from the pain, but he wanted to help his city so he fought through it and saved his city

Leap Year Blog

This year has 366 days, so that means its leap year. Leap year happens once every 4 years. What I want to accomplish in the next 4 years is the following. I want to have all A's in high school and be a great person. I want to have experienced things I would have never imagined. For example I wanted to have tried new hobbies made new friends and also be someone I would look up to. So in 4 years I will look back at this blog and hopefully accomplished those things.

This is a extremely rare photo Kanye West the greatest rapper of all time, Drake the top 10 rappers of this time and Will Smith is Will Smith. This photo captures Kanye and Will Smith at OVO fest which Drake hosts. It seems to be unclear on what the 3 rappers are laughing at but there is a theory that they maybe laughing at how bad of a beating Meek Mill took to Drake. Another thing that is very rare in this photo is the fact that Mr.West is smiling. Yes, smiling. Kanye doesn't often smile but when he does it's something to remember.

Shaniqua's Difficulties in School

Shaniqua is a very special person. She has variety of different features that separates her from others. One thing is that she has a immense waist which disables her from entering in any of the classrooms. That means that she has to do all of her learning outside and in the hallways. People look at her funny because she is never in class, but that doesn't stop her from learning. Shaniqua has a 4.0 GPA and is looking to get a full ride scholarship to Harvard. Another thing problem that she has at school is that her halo always scrapes the roof of the school and to fix it she has to pay for the damages she does. Overall Shaniqua has a very difficult time attending school.

Food Blog

It was in the 4th grade when I realized I could not handle spicy foods. At my elementary school every Wednesday they would give out exotic fruits and vegetables for everyone to try out. This was the first time they had incorporated something like this in our school. At first everyone in the school loved Wednesdays because they would give out delicious fruits and vegetables, but then one day the gave us a banana pepper which at first does not sound bad but is. Before they hand out the food item the teacher would give us a breakdown of what item actually was. The teacher had told us that the more seeds the pepper had the spicier it would taste. I was a confident boy thinking that I could take on this pepper, but in reality I couldn't. When I had devoured the pepper it had felt like a dragon had just spit fire into my throat. I quickly asked the teacher if I can go and get a drink of water. On my way to the water fountain I threw up. My nasty vomit had covered the carpet floor. I quickly ran back to the teachers room. I told my teacher that I had threw up in the hallway. My teacher told me to goo see the nurse. While I was at the nurses office she told me to go home. From that point on I realized I could not handle spicy foods.

What I want to be when I grow up

At this point in my life I do not know what I my occupation is going to be int the future. All I know is that I want to be financially free. I want a job that I have an intrest in and gives me a steady amount of income. I can't imagine myself having a 9-5 boring job that I hate. Thats not how I am. What ever I'm going to be in life I hope that its fun.

Movie Review on Daddys Home

In my opinion the movie Daddys Home was a pretty funny movie. I would give it a 7/10. The movie was hilarious at times but at moments the movie would be stale. Sometimes it would seem like the directors would be trying to do more than they have to. Overall the main plot and storyline were funny and if you watch it wait for the twist at the end.
